I took my first ever comedy class at 22 — and IT-DID-NOT-GO-WELL. I’ve written sketches so bad they should’ve come with an apology, I’ve been rejected more times than I’m willing to admit, and I’ve performed improv so incorrectly I may have lowered property values in the neighborhoods I was performing in.

But here's the good news: I kept going. I studied. I practiced. I failed. I tried again. And eventually... I cracked the code.

Fast forward to today: I write for The Onion , my satire’s been published in McSweeney’s, I’ve performed at UCB and The PIT, and I’ve taken part in competitive comedy programs with Warner Bros and DAF.

I’ve taken everything I learned over the past decade—the frameworks, the insights, the shortcuts—and poured them into this course.
